Constantin Heuer
Constantin Heuer was born into a musical family. He grew up in the Windsbach Boys Choir since the age of 9 singing with orchestras as the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra, Akademie für alte Musik Berlin Deutsches Sinfonieorchester Berlin in venues as the Concertgebow in Amsterdam or the Philharmonie in Berlin. After this time he got through the Berufsfachschulen für Musik Nuremberg and Kronach to the Royal Conservatoir of The Hague. During his studies of the Traverso he intensified his studies of Musica Practica (Practical Early Music Theory). Part of that is Vocal Improvisation, performing form the Choir book but also dicovering the performanc situation of baroque music with the “real” original materials as natural trumpet (without holes), using the big church organ, playing from the original parts. Constantin Heuer studies Musicologie at the HfM Weimar and is learning multiple wind instruments as a Stadtpfeifer, a town musician of the era of early music. He also teaches his knowladge and skills in summer courses in Germany.
